It’s been a while, folks
Well, it’s been two years since my last post. Time flies!
The past few years have been quite busy and interesting for me. Writing on this site, creating content on YouTube, and participating in the Mac community were not among my top priorities. Details are irrelevant, but I thought some of the regular visitors might appreciate an update on what I have in store for the future.
While I’m still not entirely sure about the direction of The House of Moth, I know I’m itching to get back to creating content. When I chose the name, I intentionally kept it generic to avoid being confined to a specific niche. Yes, the site has predominantly focused on Mac-related content in the past, and some of that content may still make its way here. However, I’ve become quite apathetic about anything Mac and the Mac community for various reasons. I’m hoping to introduce a diverse range of content to the site.
In the near future, I won’t be focusing on sales, repairs, upgrades, videos, or live streams. My main interests are in Startup Disk is Full (SDiF), 3D printing (and CAD), and I’ll be spending a significant amount of time in the garage working on various projects and welding. Only SDiF content will be available online; the rest will likely remain unpublished or unrecorded. I also plan to revive AppleSerialNumberInfo, which has been dormant for years. The site has become severely neglected, making it barely usable. I believe it’s long overdue to rewrite the “Turning a 2009 4,1 Mac Pro into a 2010/2012 5,1 Mac Pro – 2021 Edition” guide. I’m also interested in writing software and service reviews.
I’ve largely abandoned social media for a long time now, and it’s significantly improved my life. I occasionally check Facebook, but I uninstalled Discord probably two years ago and don’t use any other apps or sites. I don’t anticipate returning to any social media platforms anytime soon.
While it may seem like this site and many of my other online projects are dying or defunct, I wouldn’t be writing this if I didn’t feel a pull to revisit some of them. So, consider this a teaser, perhaps.
Stay tuned, we’ll talk again soon

Hi Jay its nice to finally see an update to the page!
I open your site just about every week day along with a few others to stay up to date with hardware news and information.
All the best with your work and other interests, I just subscribed to SDiF so will be checking that out!
